EMG 45TWX

The EMG 45TWX is a versatile bass pickup that combines the best of both single-coil and humbucker tones in one unit. Inside the 45TWX are two independent pickups: the JCSX single-coil, built with ceramic and steel magnets for a rich, warm tone, and the CSX humbucker, which delivers a big, aggressive sound with a pronounced mid-range. The X Series preamp enhances dynamic response and clarity, bridging the gap between passive and active pickups. A push/pull volume (or tone) pot allows seamless switching between modes, providing a wide range of tonal options. Ideal for 6-string basses, the 45TWX's extended housing ensures a perfect fit, and the solderless Quik-Connect system makes installation straightforward and hassle-free.
